It doesn't really snow in December. It happens, but not often. The best advice is to wear layers (long sleeve shirts, thermal tops or sweaters) instead of relying solely on a big heavy coat. One of those North Face brand insulated jackets or coats work well in December. It does get windy, so if a cold breeze frightens you, make sure you bring a hat, scarf and gloves. Waterproof boots and thermal bottoms are probably overkill in December.

Food stuck in sinus! Help!!?

I sneezed while eating and some food came out my nose but there is a piece of something still stuck in my nasal passage. I've tried lots of blowing, snorting, sucking with mouth closed and nose plugged, flushing/irrigating with tap water and with salted water -gently and forcefully- from both sides. Nothing works! It feels like I actually made it worse. It's giving me a headache, I feel pressure under my eye and that eye is a little puffy. Will this work itself out or turn into an infection? How long should I wait before seeing a doctor, or should I only go if it starts to feel like an infection? Should I give it some time and then try again myself? I'm talking about the smell that the inside of rubber gloves give after being used several times. Towels that have been used several times without washing and being hung to dry give off the smell too. it sounds like a problem with your hard drive filesystem. maybe you should get an ubuntu install disk (maybe the version you had before the update?), boot from it, extract your personal data from the hard drive, then install ubuntu from the cd and put your files in the new install. maybe the new kernel just didn't like your hardware

last friday i went to the movies and i felt a popcorn kernel shaving lodged in between my teeth in the back of my mouth. i tried to pick it out and thought i was successful, but later that night i still felt some tension back there. i tried flossing but nothing came out and i hoped it would just come out by itself. its been 4 days now and my gum still hurts, but it doesn't seem that the popcorn kernel shaving is even there. its tender to touch and when I chew food it hurts to have the food even slightly bump that area. Macbook: You need to restart your computer...?

I have had my 2.4Ghz white MacBook for eight months now, and from the very beginning it freezes every week or so and pops up the message "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button until it turns off, then press the Power button again." It is displayed in several languages. There doesn't seem to be any pattern of when it happens. I have done some research and know it's a kernel panic and have tried everything that Apple's website recommends, such as re-installing the OS etc. I even took it into a Mac store and had them try to fix it -- they updated everything, but that hasn't solved it either. Samsung Intercept kernel problems?

Ok, so, I have a Samsung intercept, and earlier today I used the SWUpgrade method to add an Inxane kernel to my phone. The process worked fine, until it booted. I booted it up, and I went to settings to check it. The settings turned into landscape mode, and then, after about 30 seconds, the phone rebooted. Its been rebooting after being on for 30 seconds for the past hour, and It only takes about 5 seconds to reboot. I saw four eggs, and then four babys. This momma has been taking care of them for a week or so now. My 16 year old Corgi has been struggling lately. She hasn't been able to make a bowel movement in 3 days. She won't eat her dog food, only scrambled eggs. She's drinking very little water. After she eats, she goes to the lawn like she's about to go, but nothing ever comes out of her. She has urinated, and doesn't seem to struggle with that. For a while now, it's seemed like she's had trouble with seeing and hearing. R4i Games not working...?

How to get started in system programming?

I'm a novice programmer and I know the languages C, C++, and Java. I've been spending most of my time learning more languages and trying to figure out what type of field I want to do in programming. I have always been interested in systems programming and want to go into that field. From doing a little research when this question is ask most people talk about embedded systems. Now I'm more interested into OS programming and device drivers. I use Linux and I'm trying to learn more about the kernel itself and how it works. Why can't a 2-week-old R4 SD card be reformatted?

I found an article that said if I used the AVG Recovery Cd that it would allow me to remove whatever infections that my computer has and then it would start normally and I could back up my files. I ran the AVG Cd, did the scan, removed the infections, restarted the computer, and it still gives me the "Load needed dlls for Kernel" message. Writing what you know...?

I rarely write what I know. My story takes place in locations I have never been to. I don't try to get real detailed about the characters' surroundings, but I make sure to put in enough details to enhance the story/description. I can find out just enough by researching online if I need a street name or certain geographical points. The majority of my characters are British which means in most cases they have different words for things than we do or different ways of saying things and different speech patterns. I don't know if my portrayal of them is perfect in these respects but I try to be true to their background and heritage. Even a simple thing like one of them being in a relationship, I don't have a lot of personal knowledge to go by in how to live with someone and build a romantic relationship but I go with my own emotions and do the best I can with the rest. It's all pretty much trial and error anyway. No one knows what the hell we're doing when it comes to some relationships so I imagine the things that would be different for me if I were in a relationship as opposed to what I knew in my single life and try to figure out how the characters might work through those changes.

I have an Acer Aspire one a150. It came with absolutely NO CD's because it has no CD Drive. I got a problem in which Windows XP won't start "because of an error in the software. load needed DLLs for kernel." I tried calling Microsoft Tech Support, but they no longer help XP and even if I did pay them $60, they told me they could only help with the CD. Do i have to inform someone that im going to sue them before i take any firther action?

I'm going to sue a girl at my job for libel and slander. She falsely accused me of stealing her car keys and then messing with her car. I clearly didn't mess with it just because I rather focus on my job than other things. When this incident happened she called the cops and all of her friends. Just before that she had confronted my sister and said it was me. Even though I was home already. I left my house to go speak to her and the police officer that I didn't have anything to do it. She said that she thought it was me because I am the person that least likes, and all of her friends said it was me as well because of that. I thought the problem was over after we made things clear, she now is still accusing me that it was still me and I somehow was wearing gloves while doing the action. I don't understand why she's doing all of this. I know its just affecting me, and I just want to everything end.

More than likely the battery is old and won't hold a charge any longer. It is possible you have an open battery, in which case you can pop off the tops and fill it up with distilled water. If it's not low then it's time for a new battery. If that doesn't fix it, then you do have a problem somewhere that is draining it, but I'm 99% sure that your battery is at fault. It will still give you 12v +/- even if it doesn't hold much power.

Ubuntu 11.04 Error: You need to load the kernel first?

I just installed Ubuntu 11.04 onto a partition and am dual-booting it with Windows 7. I got to the install for Ubuntu where it extracts the language packs and things like that and it has the "Slideshow" where it shows you all the new features, I got past that and restarted my computer. But when I start from GRUB it it goes into a command prompt type thing (Sorry, I'm used to windows) and it says "Error: You need to load the kernel first". I've looked around on Google and seen quite a few articles about it but it was all for 9.10 not 11.04. Please help.

My 99 oldsmobile bravada is having an A/C problem, cant figure it out. Someone please help!?

So when I try and turn on my a/c in my oldmobile bravada 99, the ac light just blinks. So i thought it was just low on Freon. Bought the freon, and it was full. Let me explain everything I have elimated. First off the compressor wont kick on, or does very seldomly. The shop automatically said I needed a new compressor, so I showed them that it was not the compressor by taking a speaker wire and connecting it straight to the battery and sure enough it started up. I was then told I needed a A/C compressor switch, and that did not work either. So we tried the freon thing again, and all the metal parts that should be freezing are cold. It will go on for like 5 seconds when I use the wire to the battery, and then blow out hot air. I took apart my glove box to see if a door is opening or not and nothing is moving, but then again the air wont stay on long enough to tell. From what we can see we do not see any broken wires. I really don't know what to do now, i have spent too much money on shops that keep giving me the wrong answer. I am trying to avoid the high fees of going to the dealer, so if you have any other suggestions I would sure appreciate them. Thank you.
