Windows will not start on my computer and i would like to know how to fix it.?

Hi, I have a Toshiba laptop and when I turn it on it says "windows could not start because of a problem with the software. Please report this problem as: load needed DLLs for kernel". Please help Yahoo peeps for I have broken my leg and I have nothing to do without my computer.
